“I never get tired of working because I love what I do. Music gives me life.” These are the words of DJ MAMBO “El Hombre Gozadera” Professional Latin DJ and MC.A native of Tela, Honduras, DJ MAMBO (as he is artistically known) immigrated to the United States at a young age. Following in the footsteps of his father, who was a disc jockey in Miami in the 90’s, DJ MAMBO began collecting music and by the age of 16 was already spinning in various private venues. At just 17 years old, DJ MAMBO became a DJ at the renowned Miami nightclub.
ATARAZANAS. However, in order to work at the club, he had to convince the club’s management that he was 19. His passion for music was clearly inbred, and his tenacity for success only intensified as time passed. DJ MAMBO gave up music for a few years while he served in the U.S. Army, in order to finance his way through College. More importantly, during his Military career, he volunteered to organize and DJ Latin Dance Nights for deployed U.S. Troops in a military bases in Iraq and Afghanistan. It was then when he fell back into what he loves the most: MUSIC.
While stationed in Germany with the U.S. Army, DJ MAMBO became resident DJ at Frankfurt’s most popular Latin Club CHANGOS. Towards the end of his military assignment, DJ MAMBO moved on to Dubai, in the United Emirates. There, he regularly performed at a renowned Latin venue HAVANA NIGHTS. Currently, DJ MAMBO is part of UNIQUE LATIN NIGHTS TEAM, performing weekly at FRENCH FOLIES and hyping up the party at TAPS in Naples. He’s also a mixer for radio show “EL MIXEO CALIENTE” on ARDIENTE RADIO.
